The Samaritan website has some amazing resources. This one is a lesson about managing stress and understanding when something is out of your control or when your stress has become uncontrollable. I have the 3 workshops ready to download, although the images below centres on the first session. There is also a person outline for download to go with the first session. If you are not sure whether you have an anxiety disorder or not and would like to read more to make an informed decision then this is a great site. Rethink Mental Illness has a page describing the signs and symptoms of anxiety so that you can assess yourself definitively and deal with it if you do. They outline the many anxiety disorders that exist and have a real life story from Ali to read. The site looks in detail at what these disorders look like and is very clear and easy to use. This week our top tip is a 10 minute meditation specially made for teachers. It is a really nice sequence of simple calming techniques that once you've watched you can fit into any time of day. You can just practice some of the breathing techniques if you're feeling particularly stressed or give yourself the full 10 minutes each morning. Take a look.
